Althea had a vivid dream of herself as a young woman in the Middle Ages. It was night. There was an atmosphere of danger and urgency. An older man was helping her onto a horse ridden by a young man. Holding her close in front of him, he galloped away as fast as possible. That was the whole dream.
Althea recognized the young man on the horse as her present older brother. He’d recently been annoying her with what she felt was overly controlling behaviour. The dream had come to show her why he was like that. He felt that it was his duty to protect and look after her. When she realized that, she was able to deal with him in a more understanding way, defusing the rising tension between them. He became more relaxed about her, and the gathering storm soon blew away.
