My real occupation requires me to be in front of my computer, but there is a lot of “dead time” which allows for posting here, etc, but I can’t leave my station, so it does not allow for spending all this time with the child. Maybe my point isn’t that clear but I think there is less one-on-one time in aggregate to spend with the child than was only a generation ago. I have no empirical proof to offer on this, however.
